Giving instruction on interior design factors such as space planning and color coordination

Preparing sketches and/or floor plans

Estimating costs and materials

Submitting final design plan

Providing a 3-D model of the project

Submitting plan for approval to government agencies when remodeling work is specified

Selecting and purchasing furnishings, art work, and accessories

Specifying interior fixtures and finishes

Designing custom work

Coordinating with architects, subcontractors and installers

Surveying and evaluating finished work
